2011 Pickle Contest Winners

Today was our 3rd Annual Pickle Contest and Public Tasting. In conjunction with the beautiful weather, our Tailgate Party, and the Mark's Carts Cook-Off, we had an unbelievable and record-breaking number of people show up to taste 54 different types of pickles, medleys, chutneys, and salsas. We'd like to thank everyone who entered the contest and everyone who voted. And the winners are:

2011 Jam Contest Winners

We held our 13th Annual Jam Contest and Public Tasting on Saturday, with an astounding lineup of 79 different local jams, jellies, preserves, and conserves. More than 200 ballots were submitted during the tasting. We've tallied the results, and are pleased to announce this year's winners. We'd like to thank everyone who entered the contest, and everyone who showed up to taste and vote for their favorites.

1st Place: Kendall Brown (and her class)

Lewis the Cat Is Back

If you didn't read about it elsewhere, Lewis is back! He was returned to us by a sharp-eyed friend of the store who spotted him in a neighborhood on Division St. Thanks to everyone for the kind thoughts and well-wishes. Lewis seems no worse for wear. Come in and give him a pet!
